As an Integrative Studies major, you have the opportunity to custom tailor the major to fit your unique educational and career goals by selecting three fields of study. The strength of this major comes from integrating areas that support your interests, skills and future goals. With this in mind, we encourage you to choose your fields with intentionality. In other words, what three fields will best help you reach your goals? What knowledge and skills do you need to develop?
Here are several combinations which students have chosen:
Some of the departments have courses with quite a bit of prerequisites or have limited options available to students outside of the major. Go to the RESOURCES Tab to find helpful handouts on these departments.
If you are interested in gaining ideas to select your fields check out the Brainstorming Handout.
You could also use an Undergraduate Academic Certificate as a field of study. There are many academic certificates available.
The Integrative Studies major can also be completed at UNT Frisco, or through a combination of Frisco and Online courses. For more information on fields of study available at Frisco, visit integrativestudies.unt.edu/unt-frisco.
