What can I do with this major?

Many industries and careers are open to different majors so you have the freedom in most cases to choose a major that you want. We encourage you to do research based on where you would like to be and see if this major works. Since this major is so diverse and you can tailor your fields, given the direction you are going.

How do I market myself?

We highly encourage all of our students to visit with their individual career coach in order to learn skills related to networking, resume writing, how to find a job, getting an internship, and much more. Can I go to graduate school with this major?

Many graduate programs simply require you to have a bachelor's degree. In some cases you have to do certain coursework. You will need research the program you are pursuing to see it has particular requirements. We have many students that pursue graduate school, medical school, dental school, vet school, physical therapy, occupational therapy and even optometry.

If I did this major how many hours will I need to graduate?

This major is really flexible so many student find that they can graduate in a timely manner. Please complete the "Getting Started in Integrative Studies" Canvas course. Once you have completed this course, including the Foliotek assignment, and it has been graded, you will receive an email with instructions for scheduling an appointment with one of our counselors. During this appointment, we will discuss your three chosen fields of study, how your completed coursework will apply to the major, and what you will have remaining.
